Job Summary

Account Executive for a federal-focused cybersecurity and cloud-services sales role, combining high-volume outbound prospecting with end-to-end deal closure in a hybrid work arrangement. You will own the entire sales process, collaborate with Sales Engineers on complex technical scoping and demonstrations, qualify and diagnose customer pain points in CMMC compliance and cloud security, craft compelling proposals, and negotiate terms. The role emphasizes transforming dormant federal assets into active revenue streams within a regulated government contracting landscape, reporting to the COO and supporting SPRS-based compliance. Strong pipeline management, consultative communication across long procurement cycles, and a focus on business liability and risk articulation are essential. Base salary is $60,000 with OTE $120,000–$200,000+, uncapped commissions, and opportunities for professional growth toward senior sales roles.

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years inside sales or business development with direct responsibility for closing deals
  • hunter mentality with time management and organizational skills
  • consultative communication and ability to articulate complex technical solutions
  • CMMC technical fluency including DFARS and data definitions (FCI vs CUI) and knowledge of NIST 800-171, SPRS scoring, and CMMC rule changes
  • ability to diagnose prospect needs quickly and scope solutions
