Job Summary
Account Executive for Guardant Health's Screening and Early Detection commercial team, focusing on promoting the SHIELD CRC blood test to primary care providers. Responsible for achieving sales targets, engaging healthcare providers, educating and supporting practices, collaborating with cross-functional teams, planning and executing product launches, monitoring market trends, and delivering high-touch customer service while navigating regulatory and clinical workflows. Requires robust healthcare sales experience, strong communication and CRM skills, and the ability to travel within the assigned territory. Hybrid work arrangement with in-office days and remote work within the US; base salary aligned to geography and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: A minimum of 4 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare industry (diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceutical sales), or a minimum of 2 years of customer-facing sales experience in the healthcare industry and direct clinical experience in a patient care environment, as a registered nurse or a physician assistant.
- Experience with diagnostic products, particularly blood-based testing or cancer screening products, directly to primary care providers is preferred.
- Familiarity with the primary care landscape in the assigned territory is a plus.
- Sales expertise: ability to engage in selling conversations, overcoming objections and aligning client needs with product offerings.
- CRM proficiency: experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce, Veeva, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Travel flexibility: ability to travel daily within territory and occasional national travel.
