Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for full cycle sales: procuring and maintaining clients, submitting estimates, obtaining orders, and following through; actively pursuing new business opportunities via direct mail, referrals, trade shows, cold calls, etc.; developing and maintaining relationships with clients; negotiating price and terms within company policy; preparing estimates for planning, scheduling, and budgeting; consulting with clients, vendors, and others to resolve issues; analyzing blueprints and proposals to aid in time, cost, materials, and labor estimates; monitoring on-site quality control and reporting sales goals and development plans.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in direct sales
- Understanding of reading and estimating from blueprints
- Knowledgeable in and proven abilities with estimating in paving/landscaping/construction environments
- Excellent math and geometry skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
