Job Summary
Account Executive – Revenue Generation at Learfield Amplify (Duke University) responsible for generating revenue through multiple channels (ticket sales, donor acquisition, premium seating, hospitality) and building relationships with area businesses and individuals. Roles include cold-calling new leads, conducting in-person/virtual appointments, networking, and meeting or exceeding weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals. Requires 1+ years of sales or customer service experience; familiarity with ticketing systems/CRM such as Salesforce is a plus; Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred. Based in Durham, NC with base pay of $14.42/hour and potential bonuses; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of sales or customer service experience
- Experience with ticketing systems and CRM software such as Salesforce a plus
- 1+ years history of success in ticket sales preferably with a major Division 1 university or professional sports organization
- Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships
- Have a friendly and professional telephone manner
- Strong desire to learn about our business and grow your professional career
- Effectively express ideas verbally and in writing
- Independently take action beyond what is called for
