Job Summary
Conduct commercial pest management sales by cold calling, prospecting, and networking to generate new business opportunities with hospitality, food & beverage, healthcare, and retail clients. Visually inspect buildings for pests, harborage, and entries; based on findings, sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance while maintaining a customer-focused service. Craft territory development strategies to exceed sales targets, learn and maintain complete knowledge of Rentokil's programs and pricing, and build partnerships with internal departments. Complete daily activities and sales performance using the company sales CRM. Requires valid driver's license, ability to operate a motor vehicle, and physical demands including lifting up to 20 lbs, climbing, crawling, and working in confined spaces. Travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license from current state of residence
- Must be able to move up to 10 lbs regularly and 11–20 lbs frequently
- Must be able to safely operate a motor vehicle
- Must be comfortable dealing with different pests
- Must be okay with regularly working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways
- Must be able to obtain any required industry licenses that will be provided and paid for by the company
- Must be able to travel up to 100% of time within assigned territory(s)
- Must be able to agree to receive initial texts from systems used on behalf of Rentokil North America, Inc.
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred two years of experience in Business to Business sales
- Prospecting skills (cold calling, lead generation, networking)
