Job Summary
Account Executive, Western Canada at Axon, remotely anywhere in Canada (preferably Vancouver/Calgary/Edmonton); focus on selling Axon’s technology suite to small-mid-sized public safety agencies in Western Canada, driving long-cycle, multi-year opportunities, and establishing executive-level relationships. Responsibilities include developing account strategies, leading complex sales engagements, negotiating contracts, coordinating with internal teams (customer success, engineering, product), maintaining CRM accuracy (Salesforce), and delivering measurable value through Axon’s products (Body 4, Evidence, Records, Fleet). Travel up to 50% across Western Canada; targets include revenue growth, market penetration, and customer retention. Requires a track record of success in public safety, SaaS, or cloud solutions, ability to translate customer needs into Axon solutions, and comfort with cross-functional leadership and multi-stakeholder projects.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in complex consultative sales (public safety/SaaS/cloud)
- Track record of exceeding sales targets
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
- Knowledge of municipal procurement processes (public safety)
- Technical acumen with cloud/SaaS/digital evidence management (preferred)
- Strong executive relationship skills
- Ability to translate customer needs into Axon solutions
- Experience with cross-functional collaboration
- Public safety or law enforcement familiarity (strong plus)
