Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for developing strong customer relationships within the commercial construction market. Identify and pursue new business opportunities with developers, property owners, general contractors, and architects; build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, events, cold calling, and market research. Conduct sales presentations, create customized proposals and pricing, and drive land-and-expand opportunities. Maintain regular client communication to understand needs and goals, travel locally and regionally to meet clients and visit project sites, and share market intelligence with internal teams to improve sales effectiveness. 100% focus on delivering customer value, growing revenue, and staying informed about industry trends.
Required Qualifications
- At least five years of experience in the construction or related sales industry
- Strong work ethic with ability to multi-task and focus
- Detail oriented with an accounting mindset—know your costs
- Excellent organizational skills
- Computer and technology savvy
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, products, and services (materials, methods, codes)
