Account Executive - Pacific Northwest

$150,000–$200,000 year

On-siteSeattle, Washington, United States

Full TimeSmall

Job Summary

Identify and close new business opportunities with car dealerships and collision centers across the Pacific Northwest, primarily the Seattle metro area, to meet quarterly quotas. Conduct on-site demonstrations and present materials highlighting Kinetic's speed, reliability, and precision to position the company as the premier ADAS calibration partner. Manage the full-cycle sales process from cold outreach and lead generation through contract signing and handoff to customer success. Utilize existing industry relationships to bypass gatekeepers and establish Kinetic as the preferred solution for fleet operators and shop owners. Represent the technology-forward identity at local industry events and trade shows to build a consistent lead funnel.

Required Qualifications

  • a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales or account management capacity in software, hardware, or services, preferably in the automotive industry or an industry whose focus areas, customer profiles, and sales cycles are broadly similar to automotive
  • a referencable history of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a hunter-style role
  • deep familiarity with the Seattle market and a ready-to-use 'Rolodex' of regional decision-makers
  • ability to confidently discuss technology features and benefits in the automotive service lifecycle
  • excellent verbal and written skills, with a knack for translating complex technical benefits into ROI-driven business cases for shop owners that result in trials and scaled service rollouts

Desired Qualifications

  • natural desire to understand a customer's challenges and how Kinetic's AI-enabled robotics services, integrated estimatics, and scheduling software can address them
  • authenticity and reliability to win over skeptical traditionalists in the automotive service world
  • an understanding that, while technology moves fast, the sales cycle for fleet operators, dealerships, and shop operators requires persistent follow-up and warm nurturing of relationships
  • a motivation to set and hit targets and be an influential, early commercial team member of a fast-growing, category-defining tech company
  • ability to pivot your energy from a high-level pitch to an owner/general manager to a casual conversation with a production manager, estimator, or technician
