Job Summary
Identify and implement event/activity plans for your Bergen, Hackensack, Garfield, and Englewood territory to build awareness of online academic programs and drive inquiry generation. Shape high-impact partnerships and execute daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails to maximize value. Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, families, and partners via in-person, phone, or email channels to champion the mission of student success. Work independently to support students through the admissions process, guiding them from application through their first few classes using critical thinking and coaching skills. Maintain a flexible schedule with extensive travel, evening, and weekend availability, utilizing personal transportation and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of success in outside business development, consultative sales or account management
- A Bachelor's degree
- No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report
- If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments
- Outstanding time management skills
- Clear communication skills
- Well developed listening skills
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed
- Ability to volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked
- Ability to take ownership of time spent with Grand Canyon University students
- High emotional intelligence
- Ability to demonstrate empathy
- A valid driver's license

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
