Job Summary
Identify and implement event/activity plans for your Dallas, TX territory to build awareness of online academic programs and drive inquiry generation. Shape high-impact partnerships and execute daily work through informational presentations, calls, and emails to maximize value. Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, families, and partners via in-person, phone, or email channels while championing the mission of student success. Work independently to support students through the admissions process, guiding them toward a successful online learning experience using critical thinking and coaching skills. Maintain a flexible schedule with extensive travel, including evening and weekend availability, while managing competing priorities and utilizing digital tools.
Required Qualifications
- Must live within 30 miles of Dallas, TX
- 3+ years of success in outside business development, consultative sales or account management
- A Bachelor's degree
- No delinquent or in default on a federal student loan as verified in your credit report
- If in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must reflect that you are current, not delinquent, on your payments
- Outstanding time management skills
- Clear communication skills
- Well developed listening skills
- Self-motivation and drive to succeed
- Ability to volunteer for new challenges without waiting to be asked
- Ability to take ownership of time spent with Grand Canyon University students
- High emotional intelligence
- Ability to demonstrate empathy
- A valid driver's license
