Job Summary
Manage the profitability, growth, and retention of an assigned book of business by underwriting and skillfully negotiating complex customer accounts to minimize risk and maximize profitability. Foster relationships with internal partners and external agents, brokers, and customers to create sales plans, identify cross-selling opportunities, and write new accounts consistent with risk appetite. Independently develop and execute agency sales plans, partner with the Managing Director on region/group strategies, and assist in training less experienced Account Executives. Requires six to eight years of relevant underwriting experience, CPCU designation, and the ability to travel for meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Six to eight years of relevant underwriting experience

- Deep knowledge of loss sensitive products
