Job Summary
Account Executive MD/DE responsible for selling medical/laboratory capital equipment and consumables within Maryland and Delaware. Drive the division’s sales process to meet or exceed quotas, establish relationships with customers at all levels, uncover needs, present solutions, schedule and conduct visits, install/train on equipment, and resolve service issues. Collaborate with channel partners/distributors, document forecasts in Salesforce.com, monitor market trends and competitive activity, and participate in state, regional, and national trade shows. Travel overnight up to 25%. Maintain a positive customer experience by coordinating internally to meet customer needs and communicating the value proposition. Ensure ongoing growth of the sales funnel and align efforts with the company’s strategic goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
- 3+ years of sales experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience selling medical or laboratory capital equipment and/or consumables
- Experience with Salesforce.com
- Experience in the clinical and/or histology laboratory space
- Experience working with Channel Partners is highly preferred
- Ability to travel overnight 25%
