Job Summary
Account Executive for Matterport in Australia (Melbourne) responsible for selling SaaS, hardware, and services to medium-to-large customers across territories, generating pipeline, closing deals, and supporting post-contract activities. Role requires regular face-to-face and online meetings, delivering product demonstrations and technical presentations, and building a territory plan with Marketing to drive relationships and pipeline. You will be product-proficient with the Pro 3 LiDAR camera, articulate Matterport’s value proposition, forecast weekly/monthly/quarterly results in Salesforce/Clari, and collaborate with Services, Customer Success, Support, and Pre-Sales teams to ensure optimal account plans. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas, value-based selling using ROI, and experience with MEDDPICC across mid-market to enterprise deals, in disciplines related to Commercial/Residential Real Estate, Facilities Management, Manufacturing, Travel & Hospitality, or Construction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 6 years Field Sales experience in Australia with strong SaaS sales experience
- History of achieving 100% sales quotas (SAAS, ACV)
- Ability to conduct 10-12 customer meetings per week
- Experience using ROI-based value selling and MEDDPICC
- Experience creating and building pipeline against a mid-range sales cycle with closes in 4-9 months
- Experience serving clients in Commercial or Residential Real Estate, Facilities Management, Manufacturing, Travel & Hospitality, Construction
- Strong team orientation and collaboration across Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Pre-Sales
