Account Executive, Major Accounts

Job Summary

Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned major retail accounts, building relationships with buyers and decision-makers while owning revenue targets and executing strategies to drive sales growth. Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance, align on strategy, and present new product initiatives, managing the full sales cycle from initial pitch through close. Curate account-specific assortments using sales data and trend insights, develop merchandising strategies including newness introductions and replenishment guidelines, and partner with Product Development to translate field feedback into actionable product direction. Collaborate with Marketing to select product for campaigns and coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of account initiatives. Gather and relay field intelligence, represent Le Vian at industry events like JCK Las Vegas, and support store-level execution of programs and product launches.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales or account management experience, with demonstrated success managing major retail or wholesale accounts
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a quota-carrying role
  • Direct experience in the jewelry industry — you know the product, the market, and ideally have established relationships with key buyers
  • Exceptional ability to build trust and long-term relationships with senior retail buyers and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills — comfortable diving into sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms, sales management tools, and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required by account needs and trade calendar

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience selling into major national retailers (department stores, club retailers, specialty chains)
  • Background in merchandising, buying, or product development — an understanding of how the other side of the table thinks
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
