Job Summary
Account Executive in Austria focusing on Neukundengewinnung, building and managing a regional pipeline, and closing end-to-end deals in collaboration with a Sales Engineer. Drives quarterly and annual quotas through structured sales methods and campaigns, identifies new opportunities via partner meetings, events, and proactive outreach, and coordinates with Pre-Sales, Channel, Marketing, Customer Success, and SDR teams. Develops new reseller relationships and expands the partner network while engaging with executives to position business value in cybersecurity SaaS solutions. Requires 2–5+ years of direct tech sales, proven New Business focus, and the ability to navigate complex sales cycles in a mid-market context.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of direct sales experience on the vendor side (Tech), preferably in cybersecurity, SaaS or infrastructure
- proven track record of new business development and closing deals
- experience managing complex sales cycles in a mid-market environment
- strong communication and presentation skills at executive level
- comfortable with CRM systems and modern sales tools
- technical understanding to position cybersecurity solutions effectively
- self-motivated, ownership-driven, and capable of working in a dynamic environment
