Job Summary
Account Executive will develop well-informed, responsive relationships with physicians and their staff, targeted long-term care facilities, and other health care providers to increase patient census and length of stay. Act as a resource to referral partners, through effective communication and education, regarding LCFL programs. Drive referral growth by making effective sales contacts, calls, and presentations within an assigned territory; support the development and execution of LCFL Marketing & Engagement plan. Primary duties include serving as a marketing and sales liaison between LCFL and referral sources, providing service information, educating about LCFL service lines, identifying barriers to service, shaping marketing strategy from referral trends, managing schedule for program performance, and maintaining customer satisfaction while upholding LCFL mission and values.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Three years experience: preference in hospice or home care or experience in marketing, public affairs, community relations or hospital liaison nurse
- Essential communication: able to speak clearly to patients, families, physicians, and staff; strong verbal and written communication skills
- Computer experience is helpful
- Interpersonal skills to develop positive interactions with patients, families, physicians and staff; ability to educate about hospice services and end-of-life care
- Ability to move freely and work full day with occasional after-hours events
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; manage stressful situations
- Exposure to hazards: rare but possible exposure to patients and other potentially hazardous situations
- Will be required to drive; reliable transportation; subject to Safe Driver Policy
