Job Summary
Local Account Executive for SMB accounts in Baltimore, MD (hybrid) with TForce Freight. Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of SMB accounts within the assigned territory; develop strong customer relationships and position TForce Freight solutions to meet shipping needs; review sales reports and transportation trends to uncover opportunities and revenue risks; track sales activity and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects; collaborate cross-functionally by sharing leads and supporting joint proposals; train customers on TForce’s digital shipping and tracking tools; analyze revenue trends and provide service recommendations; prepare weekly sales recaps and competitive updates. Requires High School Diploma or GED, local or willingness to relocate, at least 1 year of Microsoft Excel experience, valid driver’s license and local travel, and at least 1 year of B2B sales experience. Preferred: 2+ years of sales experience in transportation/LTL/3PL, strong communication and relationship-building skills, ability to forecast needs and solve problems via data analysis, 2+ years of sales presentations, negotiation skills; Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; employer does not sponsor for this role.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Based locally or willing to self-relocate to the territory
- At least 1 year of Microsoft Excel experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for customer meetings
- At least 1 year of Business to Business (B2B) sales experience
