Account Executive, Local - TForce Freight

Job Summary
Local Account Executive role focused on SMB portfolio growth within Elkton, MD territory. You will build, manage, and grow a portfolio of SMB accounts, develop strong customer relationships, review sales reports and transportation trends to uncover opportunities, track sales activity and maintain a healthy pipeline, collaborate cross-functionally to bundle service solutions and support joint proposals, train customers on TForce’s digital shipping and tracking tools, and analyze revenue trends to provide service recommendations. You will also prepare weekly sales recaps, competitive updates, and account insights. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of Excel experience, at least 1 year of B2B sales, and a valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally; relocation to the territory is acceptable. Strong communication, organizational, relationship-building, negotiation, and data-analysis skills, plus experience delivering sales presentations, are preferred. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required. TForce Freight does not offer employment sponsorship for this role at this time.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Based locally or willing to self-relocate to the territory
- At least 1 year of Microsoft Excel experience
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for customer meetings
- At least 1 year of Business to Business (B2B) sales experience
