Job Summary
Commercial Sales Executive responsible for promoting and selling Johnson Controls Security products and services within an assigned territory, building and leveraging relationships, closing new business, securing profitable sales and upgrades for Johnson Controls Security customers, renewing existing agreements, and maintaining high customer satisfaction. Will demonstrate deep product knowledge across the full line of products/services, identify prospects through creative lead-generation techniques, establish call plans and follow-up strategies, manage time and territory effectively, obtain referrals, and conduct post-installation follow-ups to ensure commitments are met. Requires the ability to present to senior level executives, strong communication and presentation skills, and willingness to travel locally. A high school degree or equivalent is required; a college degree is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent required
- College degree preferred (not required)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT or other technology sales industry, demonstrated by the consistent ability to meet and exceed quota
