Job Summary
Manage and service assigned book of business, providing high-level client support and communication with clients and carriers. Prepare submissions, proposals, and renewal documentation while reviewing policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy. Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to identify cross-selling opportunities and maintain compliance by minimizing coverage gaps. Report claims to insurance companies and monitor their progression. Drive new opportunities through networking and market engagement while cultivating long-term client partnerships. This role requires an active Texas insurance license (Property & Casualty required) and 3+ years of experience managing accounts with a book of business over $1MM. Valid driver's license and local travel are required.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an account executive at an insurance brokerage, with a book of business $1MM or greater
- Demonstrated ability to manage renewals and service accounts
- Active Texas insurance license (Property & Casualty required; Life & Health a plus)
- Ability to cultivate long‐term client partnerships
- Drives new opportunities through networking and market engagement
- Identifies client risks and recommends appropriate solutions
- Manages multiple accounts, deadlines, and follow‐ups effectively
- Makes decisions aligned with agency values and compliance standards
- Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
- Occasional travel for client meetings, networking events, and community involvement
- Must maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial or personal lines insurance
- Familiarity with Texas markets and regional business communities
- Existing book of business or established referral network
- Bilingual abilities (Spanish preferred)
- Supervisory Experience
- Life & Health license
- Agency management system (EPIC Management System preferred)
- Carrier quoting platforms and underwriting portals
- Standard office equipment (computer, phone, headset)
- Digital communication tools (email, video conferencing)
