Job Summary

Account Executive responsible for maximizing account penetration and hitting sales volume objectives across IT Managed Services, Cloud Hosting, Cybersecurity, and Staff Augmentation within the Metro NYC and Connecticut region. You will identify, qualify, and close opportunities across commercial, enterprise, and educational accounts, serve as a trusted advisor on cloud migrations and infrastructure upgrades, collaborate with pre-sales engineers and project managers, develop territory strategies, and provide end-to-end account management from technical discovery to long-term relationships. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, a proven sales track record in MSP/IT services, deep knowledge of managed IT services, cloud infrastructure, and staff augmentation, familiarity with major vendors (Microsoft/Azure, AWS, Cisco, Dell, VMware, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne), CRM proficiency (Salesforce/HubSpot), ability to translate business needs into formal proposals (SOWs) and labor estimates, and strong communication and consultative selling skills.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Sales Acumen: Proven track record in prospecting, networking, and closing high-value service contracts
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Deep understanding of Managed IT Services, Cloud Infrastructure (SaaS/IaaS), and IT Staff Augmentation models
  • Vendor Knowledge: Familiarity with Microsoft/Azure, AWS, Cisco, Dell, VMware, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne
  • Channel Experience: Ability to build relationships with internal sales teams, technology vendors, and channel partners
  • Technical Proficiency: Ability to translate business needs into technical proposals, including Statements of Work (SOW) and labor cost estimates
  • CRM Proficiency: Salesforce/HubSpot experience and reporting tools
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, professional presentation skills, and consultative problem-solving
