Job Summary
Remote-based Account Executive in the industrial automation space responsible for selling SICK solutions to named accounts, with regular home-office activity and four days a week travel to assigned accounts. Develop and execute strategic account plans, use consultative sales techniques and SICK Sales Power to identify opportunities, maintain CRM data, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. Lead and coach an account sales team, build direct customer relationships based on understanding customer needs and production applications, and drive growth of market share through solution selling. Requires 5+ years in complex high-tech industrial automation sales, a technical three-year degree, and fluent French and English. Travel to US/Canada as needed; position is not eligible for sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ Years of experience involving sales of complex, high technology industrial automation solutions and sensor products through direct sales
- Education: Three-year degree in a technical field with either an academic or experiential orientation toward technical sales
- Language: Professional written and spoken fluency in French and English required
