Account Executive I – Advanced Surgical Instruments (ASI) sells Ethicon surgical devices and solutions to surgeons and hospital decision makers, primarily in operating rooms, within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include demonstrating proper use of products to clinicians in the OR, managing customer inquiries and objections in line with product indications and sales training, executing the selling cycle to drive results, delivering concise professional and ethical presentations, staying informed on market information, building strong relationships with physicians, hospital personnel, and distributors, and ensuring compliance with safe-behavior standards and clinical knowledge. The role emphasizes planning, prioritizing opportunities within accounts, and collaborating with peers, marketing, strategic account managers, distributors, and KOLs. A Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of medical device or B2B sales experience are required; a valid US driver’s license is also required. Anticipated base pay range is $65,000-$118,000 with eligibility for incentive compensation and company-car benefits.
