Job Summary
Account Executive to promote and sell material handling equipment and systems within the assigned territory. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining an annual sales plan, managing customer relationships through regular site visits, identifying business needs, educating decision makers on integrated solutions, developing concepts and proposals, negotiating and closing deals, transitioning projects to engineering/project management post-sale, and coordinating with post-project support for maintenance plans. Must manage multiple projects, utilize CRM to track the sales cycle, and communicate effectively with customers, engineering, and sales support. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in business or related field and 3–5 years of technical/industrial sales experience; ability to read drawings and work with engineers; willingness to travel up to 50% and work extended hours.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- 3 - 5 years of experience in a technical or industrial sales role
- Experience in industrial capital equipment sales is a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 50% or as needed
- Proficiency with reading building drawings and technical layouts; ACAD proficiency a plus
