Job Summary
Account Executive for Hospitality in Washington, DC responsible for territory sales growth, customer engagement, and end-to-end sales activities. Responsibilities include traveling to customer facilities, giving sales presentations, quoting prices, taking orders, closing transactions, handling customer inquiries, and collaborating with product lines and management to achieve territory objectives. Requires strong presentation, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to travel 75-100% in-district/domestic travel; proficiency in tracking orders and using sales tools. The role emphasizes developing a territory plan, forecasting, and maintaining knowledge of industry trends and product lines across Mohawk’s brands.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of progressively responsible work-related experience and any combination of education and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
