Account Executive, Hospital Laboratory & Clinical Sales (Miami)

Job Summary
Manage and work the assigned territory to maximize sales revenue and profitability by identifying and closing new business opportunities while maintaining current accounts. Achieve sales plans across focus product categories by meeting weekly call targets, utilizing CRM tools for forecasting, and educating medical staff through product demonstrations. Update the CRM system daily with account activities and decision makers, complete weekly through quarterly reports, and maintain company vehicles, samples, and product manuals. Cover the entire territory including overnight stays and 50% air/car travel, working outside normal hours as needed to support sales goals and resolve customer inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare, or Science
- At least four years sales experience within a complex selling environment
- Demonstrated consistent sales growth over time
- Candidate must live in assigned territory
- Must be able to concentrate, analyze and solve complex issues daily
- Must be able to work outside of normal business hours to achieve sales goals
- Must maintain regular attendance and punctuality requirements
- Must be able to travel by air/car 50% of time
- Ability to work on a PC including repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse daily
- Ability to sit/stand for long periods of time, reach, bend, stoop and lift daily
- Outgoing, professional, consultative, persuasive, relationship building selling skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Confident, persistent, patient and self motivated
- CRM experience
- Self-starter, detail oriented, organized and able to prioritize and balance workloads, as well as meet strict critical deadlines along with performing under pressure in a fast-paced sales environment with the ability to negotiate and execute contracts
- Must be proficient on Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook at intermediate level or higher
- Must exhibit superior product knowledge across all product lines
- Must possess excellent planning, organizational, and administrative skills
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative environment
- Strong confidentiality and ethics required
- 50% Travel Required
