Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for hunting new logos and building relationships in the Oil & Gas vertical, leveraging a 10x pipeline strategy, territory planning, and partner engagement to close high-value deals. The role requires 5+ years of outside sales experience, a proven track record of quota attainment, proficiency with Salesforce, and the ability to articulate Hitachi Vantara’s data infrastructure differentiators to customers and partners. The role emphasizes prospecting, pipeline management, collaboration with VARs and Integrators, and ongoing self-education in digital infrastructure to drive short- and long-term revenue.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years outside sales experience
- Experience with new logo acquisition and/or new business development
- Relationships with top VARs and Integrators
- Proven track record of achieving annual quota targets
- Proficient with Salesforce (SFDC)
- BA/BS degree or equivalent desirable
- Experience selling data center technologies (infrastructure, data storage, cloud storage, data management)
- Ability to develop and execute geographic go-to-market plans with partners
- Strong hunting skills and ability to build and close high-value opportunities
- Experience in collaborating with partners to drive revenue in a matrixed organization
