Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for the full sales cycle in an outside sales role covering Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX or Denver, CO with a mostly remote work setup. Responsibilities include prospecting and hunting new business opportunities (logos), land-and-expand strategies within existing accounts, and ongoing relationship and account management to drive revenue. Targets include achieving approximately $1M gross profit in year 1. Requires proven technical sales experience, familiarity with electrical power systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, power distribution), data-center industry background, and strong networking skills. Travel about 50%+ is expected; base compensation starts around $150K with OTE of $250K+ plus incentives.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field (nice to have)
- Proven track record in technical sales, preferably in the critical power industry
- Must have recent data center industry experience with a background in technical sales
- Must be a well-connected networking expert
- Can speak to all sides of the house: White space, gray space
- Travel: 50%+
