Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for outbound prospecting (cold-calling, LinkedIn outreach, and email) and driving new business in the higher education B2B SaaS space. Execute online presentations and product demonstrations, discover client needs, overcome objections with a consultative approach, and manage the full sales process from prospecting to closing across all three products under the platform. Log activity in Salesforce and maintain data accuracy; develop proposals and get contracts executed; coordinate hand-off to Client Success. Candidate should have a hunter mentality, be quota-driven, comfortable with outbound outreach, and proficient with Salesforce and sales-engagement tools (Salesloft, Outreach, Groove); 4+ years in sales with experience in higher education selling strongly preferred; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Responsibilities also include collaboration with leadership, ability to work in a distributed remote environment, and a focus on high energy, team-oriented sales execution.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in sales
- 1-2 years in B2B SaaS
- Experience selling into Higher Education strongly preferred
- Successful track record of achieving and exceeding quotas
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
