Job Summary
Account Executive/HCM Sales Consultant in the Greater Los Angeles area responsible for selling Coastal Payroll Services’ HCM solutions (Applicant Tracking, Learning Management, Payroll, HRIS, Time & Attendance, HR Services, Integrations, Expense Management, Performance Management). Drive monthly/annual quotas through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and building a robust sales pipeline. Develop and sustain referral sources, manage end-to-end sales cycles, present solutions to prospective clients, and assist with onboarding alongside payroll/implementation teams. Requires five-plus years of B2B sales experience in payroll/HCM or related industries, strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills, and a Bachelor’s degree (preferred). Offers uncapped commissions, remote-friendly options, benefits, and PTO.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of successful sales experience in payroll, HCM, HR technology, PEO, benefits, SaaS, or a related industry; or a proven record as a top-performing B2B sales professional
- Demonstrated success prospecting, developing, and closing new business opportunities
- Strong consultative selling, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Self-motivated, disciplined, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset
- Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and grow
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
