Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for managing and growing Hawaii retail accounts for a global CPG, including major chains and independent grocery formats. You will conduct in-person visits, support in-store execution, shelf placement, and product availability; develop and negotiate promotional plans; drive display opportunities; execute planograms and shelf standards; manage forecasting, order management, budgeting, and issue resolution; maintain trade standards and stock levels; monitor competitor activity and market trends; prepare regular sales reports and pipeline updates. Requires 3+ years in FMCG/retail sales, strong Hawaii market knowledge, ability to handle a broad account base, strong negotiation skills, autonomy in a small team, proficiency with Microsoft Office (SAP a plus), and willingness to travel up to 75% within Hawaii. Based in Hawaii or willing to relocate.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in CPG/FMCG, or retail sales in a field-based role
- Familiarity with the Hawaii retail landscape, including chain grocery and independent market formats
- Demonstrated ability to manage a broad account base independently and deliver against revenue targets
- Experience working across retail grocery formats, from major chains to independent stores
- Strong negotiation skills and comfort holding commercial terms while maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Commercially minded, with an understanding of trade investment and promotional planning
- Clear, direct communicator; confident presenting to buyers and reporting back to leadership
- Comfortable working with autonomy in a small team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus
- Must be based in Hawaii or willing to relocate
- Ability to travel up to 75% within Hawaii
