Job Summary

Account Executive responsible for generating new business in an assigned territory through inside sales, calling clients and agencies remotely with minimal travel. Manage all aspects of the sales function: prospect new clients/agencies, determine needs, propose programs, and close business. Develop and maintain client/agency relationships; maintain your own pipeline in CRM and keep forecasts up to date. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals; collaborate with team; make independent program/rate decisions within company guidelines. Requires a BA/BS degree and 2+ years of advertising sales experience in digital, OOH, TV, cable, or radio, with a proven track record selling media to automotive, insurance, government, banking, retail, QSR/CDR, and working with agencies. Strong prospecting, qualification, and closing skills via phone and email; comfortable presenting to 1:1 and large groups including C-level executives; excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized, energetic, and persuasive. Proficiency with CRM, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint; remote work with minimal travel.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree from a leading U.S. or International University in related field
  • 2+ years of advertising sales experience within digital, OOH, TV, cable or radio related experience
  • Successful track record of selling media to automotive, insurance, government, banking, retail, QSR/CDR or within assigned territory
  • Successful track record of working with agencies
  • Ability to self-generate leads
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-growing, rapidly changing entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to think and plan strategically
  • Good interpersonal skills, phone communication skills and email skills
  • Quick to absorb new information and capabilities
  • Ability to present in 1:1 settings, large groups and to C-level executives
  • A clear communicator via the phone, in person and in writing
  • Enthusiastic, energetic and tenacious
  • Skilled at negotiating and getting others excited about your product
  • Highly organized and flexible
  • Computer literate and understanding of basic CRM, Excel, Outlook, Word & PowerPoint
  • Minimal travel required that may include overnight stay
