Job Summary
Conduct aggressive outbound prospecting to source new institutional sales opportunities through cold-calling, email campaigns, and trade show networking across the New England territory. Build and manage a robust sales pipeline while delivering persuasive on-site presentations and webinars to secure bulk purchase agreements with universities and colleges. Meet monthly and quarterly revenue quotas tied to new sales, simultaneously managing post-sale onboarding to ensure client retention and growth. Collaborate closely with Customer Care and marketing teams to finalize contracts, log CRM activities, and share market insights. Travel up to 70% within the assigned region to hunt for untapped markets and expand presence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in science, marketing, communications, business, or a relevant field
- At least five years of sales experience
- Demonstrated ability to uncover leads, convert prospects, and consistently crush new business sales quotas
- Extensive experience in top-of-funnel pipeline generation, qualifying opportunities, and meticulous time management
- Hunter Mentality: High degree of resilience, persistence, and self-motivation to chase and close new business
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Highly comfortable and persuasive when speaking or presenting in front of large groups
- Aptitude for problem-solving and determining tailored solutions for customers to win their business
- Energetic, outgoing, competitive, and aggressively goal oriented
- Outstanding organizational abilities with an adaptive, collaborative mindset
- Willingness to travel up to 70% within the defined territory to hunt for new opportunities
