Job Summary
Account Executive for United Mechanical's HVAC Service Department in Fort Myers, FL. Manage and grow a portfolio of existing service customers, identify and develop service sales opportunities including repairs, maintenance agreements, retrofits, and small projects. Prepare and present service proposals, estimates, and agreements; collaborate with service management, dispatch, and technicians; conduct site visits; follow up on proposals and customer concerns. Maintain knowledge of service labor rates, materials, and margins; track customer activity in CRM; resolve customer issues while protecting profitability; support service agreement retention and renewals.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, mechanical service industry (required)
- Experience in service-based sales or account management (required)
- Understanding of service operations, repair workflows, and maintenance agreements
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Experience selling HVAC or mechanical service solutions
- Experience with commercial or industrial customers
- Prior collaboration with service technicians or operations teams
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs
