Account Executive - Environmental Testing

Job Summary
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and close for analytical environmental laboratory services. Develop new business and grow existing accounts by partnering with environmental consultants, industrial facilities, municipalities, and government agencies to deliver water, soil, air, and wastewater testing solutions. Identify client needs, prepare proposals in collaboration with lab teams, and coordinate with project management to ensure successful execution. Generate new opportunities through networking, referrals, and follow-up while maintaining accurate CRM records. Meet or exceed established revenue and business development goals. Full-time hybrid role with 30–50% in-territory travel; no visa sponsorship available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within environmental laboratory services, environmental consulting, laboratory testing, or other technical B2B industries
- Demonstrated success managing the full sales cycle, generating new business, closing opportunities, and achieving or exceeding sales goals in a quota-driven environment
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical services and solutions
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce), and LinkedIn
- Ability to work outside of scheduled hours as needed to meet operational or client needs
- Frequent in-territory travel within assigned territory (approximately 30–50%), with occasional overnight travel for client meetings, training, conferences, and other business-related needs
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of environmental laboratory testing, including water, wastewater, soil, air, or waste analysis, environmental regulations, or compliance services strongly preferred
