Job Summary
Identify and consult with new clients to understand their supply chain needs, then create value-add solutions through remote and in-person meetings to close deals. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding by leveraging internal resources while leading the customer onboarding process. You will build and grow Flexport Italy's presence by identifying fit clients from both self-prospected and SDR-generated leads. This role requires at least 2-3 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales, with fluency in English and Italian, and is based in Milan.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2-3 years' experience in a Freight forwarding / Logistics domain carrying sales role, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals in the Italian market
- Experience of the logistics industry is essential with the freight forwarding industry strongly preferred
- You are not afraid of cold-calling prospects if you believe there is an opportunity to win
- Experience managing accounts and creating an outstanding experience for clients
- A fast learning ability, a strong work ethic, and a burning desire to grow into a top 5% sales executive in the country
- Fluent English and Italian languages
- You will be able to identify good fit clients - both self-prospected and generated by your SDR team
- You will be able to consult with new clients to understand their supply chain needs and pains
- You will be able to create a value add solution, demonstrating our capabilities through remote and in-person meetings
- You will be able to close the deal
- You will be able to lead the customer onboarding process by leveraging internal resources and teams
