Job Summary
Account Executive role selling EF Contract Flooring products across Pennsylvania and Delaware. Build and nurture relationships with architects, interior designers, and commercial flooring contractors; identify opportunities through new construction and refurbishments; move projects through the bids/specification process; provide marketing support, client entertainment, and designer luncheons; maintain accurate customer data in Quest-CRM; engage in networking through trade associations (IFMA, BOMA, IIDA); travel within the territory and occasional evenings; full-time with a focus on achieving sales targets within a 30-mile radius of Greater Philadelphia; requires valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Required Qualifications
- Membership and participation in an industry trade association (IFMA, BOMA, or IIDA) is mandatory
- Three to five years of experience in commercial interior (walls, furniture, etc.) and/or flooring outside sales and evidence of sustained effectiveness and success strongly preferred
- A college degree is preferred
- Ability to work evenings on occasion to entertain customers (3-5 times per month)
- Strong communication with diverse individuals
- Full-time presence in sales field five days per week (40+ hours)
- Some overnight travel is expected
- Strong organization and project management skills
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance
- Must live within approximately 30-mile radius of the area
- Lifting and moving of materials may be required (up to 25 lbs)
- Must be able to drive or ride in a vehicle for extended periods
