Job Summary

Account Executive handling Public Sector and utility-focused sales in the Central Region, based in Kentucky with frequent travel up to 30%–50% including overnight stays. Responsible for generating new business through consultative sales, developing leads and relationships with utility and public sector clients, translating customer needs into feasible, installable renewable-energy solutions, and communicating with leadership and technical staff. Develops financial proposals and presents to customers, maintains ongoing customer relationships through installation, and tracks progress toward activity and revenue goals. Requires knowledge of the renewable energy industry, strong proposal and negotiation skills, and proficient communication. Travel up to 50% and collaboration with operations to meet client goals. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor�s degree in business or related field
  • Five or more (5+) years' industry experience selling large solutions; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Highly effective and successful sales negotiation and closing techniques
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
  • Ability to compose and write proposals, reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
