Account Executive, Endoscopic (KY, S. Indiana, Cincinnati Territory)

Job Summary

Drive sales revenue and market share growth within the KY, Southern Indiana, and Cincinnati territory by pursuing new business and closing qualified accounts through clinical demonstrations. Nurture existing customer relationships with physicians, nurses, and hospital administration via routine calls, product demos, and in-service training. Act as an Endoscopic Consultant by educating the market on core products, managing VIP accounts, and supporting the Product Development team in clinical evaluations of new prototypes. Maintain accurate customer data, generate weekly and monthly sales forecasts, and attend regional trade shows as directed. Travel 75% of the time, including overnight trips up to 50%, while adhering to all FDA regulations and vendor credentialing requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related quantitative disciplines
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of field sales experience
  • Ability to work well independently and take charge of situations
  • Ability to excel in fast-paced, competitive environments
  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for development of solid customer relationships
  • Ability to operate a computer effectively and efficiently, including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in use of MS Outlook and other email applications
  • Ability to professionally communicate with internal and external customers
  • Ability to effectively manage time and regional budget requirements
  • Ability to multi-task and work on several projects simultaneously
  • Ability to write reports and relay information accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ability to prioritize customer requirements
  • Ability to speak in front of small groups of people
  • Ability to speak professionally and relay technical information accurately and concisely
  • Ability to understand basic mathematical requirements for discount calculation
  • Ability to sit up 75-100% of applicable work time
  • Ability to use hands and fingers to feel and manipulate items, including keyboards, up to 100% of applicable work time
  • Ability to stand, talk, and hear for 75% of applicable work time
  • Ability to lift and carry large size equipment up to 25-50 pounds up to 20% of applicable work time and as needed
  • Close vision: the ability to see clearly at twenty inches or less
  • Ability to travel 75% of time- includes time spent in the field and at corporate offices
  • Ability for overnight travel up to 50% (including weekends at times)
  • Willingness to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
  • Willingness to test for the COVID-19 virus periodically
  • Willingness to wear a face covering indoors as required
  • Ability to comply with all applicable U.S. Food and Drug Administration (U.S. FDA) medical device regulatory requirements
  • Ability to comply with applicable ISO 13485 standard requirements
  • Ability to comply with all other applicable laws, regulations and standards
  • Ability to comply with and pass all requirements for vendor credentialing as part of gaining access to hospitals and facilities to perform assigned job duties
