Job Summary
Account Executive is responsible for driving sales across Canadian HOUSE accounts and managing day-to-day relationships with independent/specialty store accounts from Ottawa through the Maritimes, while supporting major accounts in collaboration with the Head of Wholesale. The role requires education/product knowledge delivery in French and English to major department stores and independents, collaboration on assortments, reorders, and returns, development of seasonal projections, onboarding of new accounts, in-season reaction with partners through trunk shows and market travel, JOOR order management, cross-functional partnership with Canadian AEs, US agents, and internal teams, and delivering sales reports to leadership. Requires 3+ years in a comparable role, strong commercial acumen, excellent communication, advanced Excel skills, and bilingual English/French proficiency. Travel up to 30% within Canada is included.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a comparable role (Account Executive, Associate Buyer, or similar)
- Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of sales drivers and retail performance
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present effectively and translate market insights into action
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including building and adapting reports (weekly, seasonal, market recaps)
- Professional proficiency in both English and French is required
