Job Summary

Account Executive, Data Solutions at G2. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close for the Data Solutions product, targeting Investors and SaaS Vendors. Build and execute strategic territory and account plans, develop relationships with CXO/Operating Partner-level decision-makers, translate complex customer challenges into data-driven solutions using G2’s insights, shape deal strategy and pricing, collaborate with Partnerships, cross-LOB teams, Product, and Solution Consulting to deliver a seamless buyer experience, accurately forecast pipeline and revenue, and provide feedback to inform product and GTM roadmaps. The role emphasizes pipeline building, closing large deals, and scaling a new segment within the organization.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of quota-carrying experience selling Data, SaaS, or Enterprise Consulting services
  • Experience in or excitement for building out a new team
  • Proven track record of closing 6-and 7-figure deals with strategic decision-makers
  • Deep familiarity with the needs and buying behaviors of private equity firms, venture capital, analyst firms, and/or B2B software
  • Comfortable navigating C-suite conversations, particularly with Operating Partners and GTM leaders
  • Strong consultative selling skills and a data-driven mindset
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
