Job Summary
Account Executive responsible for managing and expanding OEM customer relationships across the mid-America region. Develop and execute territory strategies, own and manage customer relationships, grow existing accounts, and identify new opportunities. Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to deliver consultative solutions, communicate market trends and performance metrics using KPIs, ensure pricing/forecasting/terms compliance, and coordinate internal resources to support territory goals. Requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of professional experience in engineered-products sales (manufacturing sales preferred), and up to 75% travel; ideal candidates are based in Tulsa, Dallas, or Kansas City.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business (required)
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience; strong background in sales of engineered products strongly preferred
- At least 2 years of manufacturing sales experience
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage all organizational levels
- Knowledge of industrial sales techniques and a willingness to continuously learn
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Proficiency with Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office
- Willingness to travel up to 75% within the assigned territory
