Job Summary
Account Executive in Boone, NC, selling digital and radio campaigns to clients. Works with VP of Sales and digital team to manage client expectations, conduct needs analyses, prepare pitches, and close sales. Responsible for revenue growth, maintaining a billing book, processing proposals/insertion orders, and coordinating campaign launches with the graphics and digital teams. Tracks campaigns to ensure impressions goals are met and provides end-of-month performance reporting. Requires a strong sales orientation, professional demeanor, client-facing skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Bachelor’s Degree in Communications/Marketing preferred and/or equivalent experience; 1-3 years of sales experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Communications/Marketing preferred and/or equivalent work experience
- Minimum experience working in sales: 1-3 years preferred
- Strong organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to build and manage client relationships
- Experience with proposals, insertion orders, and campaign reporting
- Knowledge of digital and radio advertising products
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated, sales-driven mindset
- Effective communication and presentation skills
