Job Summary

Own your territory and drive new business by partnering with an established sales support & marketing team to identify top opportunities and secure new clients. Diagnose client problems, propose solutions, negotiate and close deals, and position Schneider Geospatial as the industry expert by leveraging strengths to maximize client value. Collaborate with peers to develop winning strategies, coordinate the proposal process, and use leading sales tools (Salesforce and Salesloft) to manage contacts, leads, opportunities, and the sales pipeline. Work with existing clients to ensure maximum deployment and usage across departments and respond to technical questions/issues, coordinating with internal Support staff as needed. Strong emphasis on relationship-building, thought leadership, and continuous opportunity development in GovTech and SaaS within local county governments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor7s degree
  • 3-5 years of experience in GovTech or SaaS selling into local county governments
  • Proven sales experience and track record of success
  • Hunter sales mentality with tenacity and confidence
  • Experience negotiating and closing contracts
  • Tech savviness and strong presentation skills
  • Ability to travel regularly with opportunities to attend tradeshows and conferences
  • Valid drivers license and clean driving record
  • Understanding of local government workflow and practices
