Job Summary
Verdant by Copeland is hiring a high-energy Account Executive to build and close new business across the U.S. market. This hunter role requires you to create your own pipeline, book demos, and drive deals from first contact to close. You will prospect daily via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and database canvassing; book and conduct multiple qualified demos per week; maintain an active pipeline; close opportunities within 2–12 month cycles depending on segment; manage activity and forecasting in Salesforce; re-engage dormant accounts; present ROI-driven proposals to US-based decision-makers; leverage rebate programs and low-hanging fruit opportunities; and participate in 2–4 trade shows annually. Success in 6–12 months includes consistent demo-booking activity, a strong self-generated pipeline, and clear forecasting. Thrive traits include 2–5 years of B2B hunting experience, ability to start from scratch, strong presentation skills, knowledge of BANT or structured qualification, building a book of business, tech-savviness with CRM tools, and clear English communication. This role emphasizes self-generated pipeline, direct, structured, outcome-driven communication, and ownership of a book of business in a global climate technologies company focused on HVACR and cold-chain solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of B2B sales experience
- ability to build and manage own pipeline
- experience booking and conducting demos
- experience with Salesforce CRM or similar
- strong presentation and communication skills
- ability to work in prospecting-heavy environments
- comfort selling via web presentations and phone
- experience with cold outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn)
- ability to manage multiple demos per week
