Job Summary
Execute communications campaigns achieving client goals and drive business results for premier national brands in food, beverage, wellness, and wearable tech. Pitch innovative event concepts, maintain high-level relationships with clients, media, and influencers, and secure consistent coverage by building comprehensive media lists. Utilize strong pitch skills to fill rooms, establish new contacts across multi-channels, and contribute to the department's thought leadership and content creation initiatives. Participate in research to prepare leadership for new business pitches and RFP development. Maintain state-of-the-art industry knowledge while managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and budget parameters.
Required Qualifications
- Current PR agency PR AAE, PR AC, or PR AE
- 2-3 years of prior public relations agency experience executing communications programs and creative campaigns for our consumer industry clients
- Bachelor's degree
- Proven history of driving results via earned owned and shared media channels
- Successful experience in earned media relations programs with top-tier national and trade outlets
- Proven history of media placements and established contacts
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously meeting all deadlines and budget parameters
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Familiarity with AP style
- Ability to provide counsel to leadership and clients, even when it might be uncomfortable
- Ability to effectively work as part of a team
- Ability to share information freely
