Job Summary
Account Executive, Communities responsible for a territory-based sales strategy in Northern California, engaging in in-person field activities to build and manage a qualified pipeline of enterprise retailers and ecommerce brands. Responsibilities include leading consultative discovery to quantify business impact (customer acquisition, conversion lift, fraud prevention, margin protection), articulating ID.me’s value proposition (verification plus distribution) through presentations, demos, and proposals, developing product/industry acumen for technical conversations, guiding cross-functional handoffs with Marketing, Solutions Consulting, and Customer Success, and continuously refining territory execution with awareness of industry trends and competitive positioning.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years in a quota-carrying, hunter-style sales role
- Year-over-year quota attainment and top-performer recognition
- Knowledge of e-commerce, MarTech, and performance marketing personas/budgets
- Experience selling to apparel, consumer electronics, home goods, and/or sports/outdoors segments
- Closed opportunities with ACVs ranging from $100k-$1M on 6- to 12-month cycles
- Sales methodologies training (e.g., Command of the Sale, Message)
- Experience selling technology into commercial markets (top internet retailers)
- Proven ability to build trust and interact with customers
- Startup/growth-stage team experience desired
- Experience with Salesforce
