Account Executive - Commercial Lines

Job Summary
Service middle market commercial lines accounts by evaluating and processing underwriting information, negotiating renewals for best rates, and educating clients on coverages and exposures. Review commercial quotes, binders, invoices, and certificates for accuracy, prepare applications for underwriters, and maintain relationships with MGAs to implement risk reduction management programs. Provide annual reports of coverages, premium payments, and incurred losses for auditors. Maintain relationships with customers and prospects, effectively market to carriers, and work within a team environment. Requires a P&C license, 3+ years of commercial lines experience, and knowledge of property and casualty coverage rating.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of Commercial Lines experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- Demonstrated ability to property and casualty accounts (within a specific product segment or industry vertical)
- Knowledge of all forms of property and casualty coverage rating
- Thorough knowledge of commercial lines coverages and markets
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- EPIC experience preferred
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, interpersonal, communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to work in a team environment
- Valid P&C license required
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Negligible travel
- Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
