Job Summary
Account Executive to drive land-and-expand deals for Portworx and Everpure Cloud across Enterprise, Commercial, Corporate and US SLED segments. Own territory planning, manage relationships at strategic and operational levels, and collaborate with partners, co-sellers, sales/pre-sales/engineering teams. Deliver enablement sessions, share best practices, conduct competitive and market intelligence, and articulate Portworx and Everpure Cloud value propositions to customers. Applicants should have a proven enterprise software sales background, strong communication skills, a hunter mindset, and the ability to navigate complex multi-stakeholder deals; must be located in DC, Maryland, Virginia or Philadelphia.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years experience selling enterprise software and subscription software
- basic technical understanding of enterprise software, container, cloud native, and storage domains
- ability to present Portworx and Everpure Cloud value propositions, products, vision, strategy, and roadmap
- excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- prospecting hunter with a track record of opening doors to new customers
- ability to engage customers and understand their business challenges
- thought leadership, creativity and challenger mindset
- ability to plan and manage a territory to maximize revenue and efficiency
- experience leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders and collaboration with partners
- location in DC, Maryland, Virginia, or Philadelphia
