Job Summary
Lead generation through prospecting, cold calling, and networking to acquire new business for small businesses (1-9 employees) within the Portland, OR territory. Identify customer needs and use solution-based selling to recommend wireless solutions, including price plans, data services, handsets, and accessories. Negotiate and close deals while utilizing sales force automation to manage the sales funnel and report on forecasts. Maintain and grow the customer base under sales manager supervision. Requires high school diploma or GED, verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-changing environment. Full-time role with a total target cash pay range of $71,700 to $129,500, inclusive of incentives.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast changing environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking
- Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Effective negotiating and closing skills, including communication, emotional intelligence, and problem-solving
- Reside within the Portland, OR territory
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years verifiable new customer acquisition sales experience, preferably within a commissioned environment
- Outside B2B sales experience
